Door schedule.

What it means in interior design.

A door schedule is the table that lists every door on a project, each with a reference (D01, D02…) that matches the plan. It records size, swing, leaf and frame finish, ironmongery and any fire or acoustic rating.

In practice

Number doors on the plan before anything is ordered, and keep the schedule as the single source the joiner, builder and supplier all price from. Most site errors are a door that swings the wrong way or a handle on the wrong side, both of which a schedule settles.
